FFwD - Gerard Mustard Tart

This is our Second recipe with FFwD!  I loved the way this tart turned out; just like the picture in the book!  I loved the tart dough recipe.  It came together very nice, and the tip on rolling out the dough between pieces of plastic wrap really worked!  The tart filling was so yummy and don't you love the beautiful colors of the carrots!  Great dish to put on your Fall menu!

Bon Appetit!

  1. I can honestly say I've never heard of a mustard tart, but I'm sure I'd like it very much! Especially if it's one of Dorie's recipes.

  2. That is a beautiful tart. I have to go out and buy that book! Sorry I didn't get to see you when I was in Cary. Time was short, but we did go to Apex for dinner and I got to see your tea shop after hours. Loved it!
