The French Friday with Dorie group is cooking Pancetta Green Beans this week! What a great simple dish this is! Green Beans are a great addition to almost any meal; and the addition of pancetta makes them special enough for company.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add green beans cook for about 5 minutes.
Transfer to a ice-bath -- cool -- then pat dry.
Saute pancetta until crisp.
This recipe comes out of the cookbook Around My French Table by Dorie Greenspan. I have been so happy cooking with the group frenchfridayswithdorie.com The recipes in this book are really amazing!!

ReplyDeleteThese were lovely & defintely dressed up anything they were served with. Congrats on the soon to be grandbaby. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteI agree with how lovely these are for both a weeknight meal as well as an "entertaining night" meal. They look amazing and taste even better. They were a big hit in our house (and Nana's too) and we look foward to revisiting them with some of the great ideas I have picked up from the LYL's. I also love your Portmerion platter in the photo - what a perfect dish to use !
