Just finished making this flavored salt! My kitchen smells amazing!! The recipe comes from the September Issue of
Food Network Magazine. It was so easy to make and is a great compliment to my home grown tomatoes! I highly recommend making this to serve with tomatoes and mozzarella.
Directions:
Pulse 1/2 cup kosher salt and 1/2 cup packed basil leaves in a food processor; then spread on a baking sheet and bake at 225 until dry ~ 30 to 40 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Let cool and pulse again to make a fine powder.
No way.... why haven't I known about this before now???? Making it asap!
