Here is a easy centerpiece for the holidays! Use a glass hurricane or vase to create your arrangement that will last throughout the season. I filled the bottom with fresh cranberries, then fresh limes, more cranberries, fresh clementines, then a small branch of magnolia leaves.
I love having a magnolia tree in my yard, the leaves are great to decorate with! If you don't have magnolia leaves any fresh greenery looks great.

Love it!! I do wish I had your magnolia tree. It is so beautiful!! Great job:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I love magnolias, too. I've got a little one in this yard. My old house had 100 year old magnolias, and I do miss them.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great do-able idea UNLESS your husband cut down your magnolia tree :) Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI always love to use fresh fruit during the holidays. This is a very easy way and it doesn't damage the fruit for eating later. My daughter once did a similar arrangement in a slightly lower vase and then set a flat plate with a flower arrangement on top... very pretty but more trouble to do. I like your idea because it's easier! I do believe it might find its way onto my table this week. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to backtrack to figure out how I got here - but I'm glad I did. I'm going to try the fruit centrepiece. We don't have magnolia here but we have lots and lots of salal, which will work just as well. Thank you for the lovely idea.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Let's see, I have lemons, I bought cranberries this morning, no limes, but I do have some clementines that should work………sorry, have to go now — I do have a Magnolia tree and I'm going to go pick some leaves right now!
ReplyDeleteI like fresh arrangements. Our magnolia tree drops it's leaves here in Pennsylvania. White pine would look nice as a substitute.
ReplyDeleteOH such pretty colors! Love the limes!
