Slow-Cooker Barbecue Pork Tenderloin

We have been having almost 90 degree weather the last few days in North Carolina, so I guess that is what inspired me to make one of my favorite summer dishes! Barbecue Sandwiches with slaw! This was a new recipe for me out of the new Junior League of Raleigh cookbook You're Invited Back. Junior League cookbooks have always been a favorite of mine!

The ingredients are:
1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
1 (12-ounce) can Coca-Cola
3 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 pork tenderloins
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Combine the chili sauce, cola, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a slow cooker and mix well. Sprinkle the pork with the garlic powder, paprika and pepper. Add to the slow cooker. Cook on Low for 8 hours.
Remove the pork from the sauce and shred with forks. Return the pork to the slow cooker and mix well. Cook until heat through. Serve on rolls as sandwiches.

I am joining Michael at www.designsbygollum.blogspot.com for FOODIE FRIDAY, make sure you stop by to see what the other FOODIE's have been cooking this week!

  2. Kendra, This recipe made my mouth water and I've had dinner! This is a wonderful recipe. I always have pork tenderloins on hand. Just pop it all in the slow cooker and you have a yummy meal- and leftovers, too!
